Contrary to popular belief, George Washington's false teeth were not made of wood. Actually, the teeth in our founding father's dentures were made out of elephant and hippopotamus ivory.

One can just imagine if animal sounds came out of Washington's mouth every time he bit down hard with his dentures... (did I actually write that? Oh my God!)
