Dental News
Insurance-Business-Review.com is reporting that supplemental insurer Aflac has introduced a dental insurance option to companies that it says will reduce the hassle of network restrictions, deductibles or annual premium reviews for employees.

According to Alfac, its new voluntary insurance product provides efficient benefits to employees at no cost to employer and also with no administrative burden. The employers will not have to negotiate deductibles, copayments or provider networks using new voluntary offerings.

The features of this dental plan include: no networks where policyholders have freedom to choose any dentist without restriction; no deductibles for any qualifying treatment; and no annual premium reviews as policy rates do not increase based on utilization or group demographics.

Tom Giddens, SVP and co-director of sales at Aflac, said: "An increasing number of employers are looking at dental insurance as a key factor in a benefits package and Aflac's dental offering helps them provide excellent options for their employees without any direct cost to the company. In addition, Aflac's dental product eliminates many of the administrative headaches associated with traditional insurance offerings and lets employers stay focused on running their business. It also helps keep employees productive and feeling secure knowing they have benefits they can rely on."
