"Finding a Dentist" Meets Smartphones

Assurant Employee Benefits has introduced a new applications to help its dental plan members find a participating dentist. Known as Find-a-Dentist, the application uses GoogleMaps technology to connect iPhone®, Android and (very soon) BlackBerry® users with dentists in proximity to their location. This new application is a first of its kind in the employee benefits industry.
Industry-First Application
Currently Assurant Employee Benefits is the only insurance benefits carrier offering smartphone technology in this way. Find-a-Dentist is a free download available to all Assurant Employee Benefits customers with smartphones and provides updates on Company news as well as Twitter feeds.
"We always look for ways to keep our products and communications relevant to our customers and sales force, and the way they use technology is always changing," says Todd Rever, vice president of professional services. "It's very gratifying to be able to provide an industry-first tool that will help Assurant Employee Benefits connect in a new and meaningful way."
